The Notable Tree Program is a way to recognize and thank residents who maintain and preserve special trees with the city limits of Kingsport, TN.

Tress will be selected based on at least one of the following:

  • Size and Condition
  • Historical Interest
  • Special Significance to Area

A tree deemed "notable" will then be placed on the City's register of notable trees. The owner will receive a certificate and be recognized at the next Arbor Day celebration.
